Privacy & cookie policy
Privacy is not a box you tick: it's Kubuno's starting point. This page explains, in full transparency, what this site does — and above all does not do — with your data.

Our principle: privacy by design
This marketing site is deliberately data-minimal: no accounts, no profiling, no advertising, no third-party analytics. The same philosophy runs through the Kubuno platform itself, designed so you host your data on your server.
Data controller
This site is published by Toiledev, the publisher of the Kubuno project. For any question about this policy or your data, see the Contact section.
What we don't collect
- No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
- No third-party analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no equivalents).
- No accounts, no newsletter, no sign-up. Only two forms, both optional: the contact form and module reviews — you alone decide whether to fill them in.
- No selling or commercial sharing of data — quite simply, no personal data is collected for marketing purposes.
Technical data & server logs
Like any web server, the hosting infrastructure may keep technical access logs (IP address, date/time, requested page, browser type) for a short period. These logs are used solely to keep the service secure and running properly (abuse prevention, incident diagnosis). They are never used for profiling or cross-referenced with other sources.
Cookies & local storage
This site sets no cookies at all — neither tracking nor session cookies. It only uses your browser's local storage, to remember your choice about the consent banner.

You can clear it at any time by emptying the site's local storage in your browser settings; the banner will then reappear.
Third-party resources & services
Fonts. The Plus Jakarta Sans font is served by this site itself: no request — not even a preconnect — is made to Google Fonts or any other CDN. No data leaves this site when a page is displayed.
Outbound links. Some pages link to GitHub or Toiledev. Once on those sites, their own privacy policies apply.
Module reviews
The marketplace lets you post a review of a module, with no account and no cookie. We then record only the name you enter (feel free to use a pseudonym), your rating, your text and the date.
To block automated submissions, we also keep a technical fingerprint of your IP address — a salted, irreversible cryptographic digest that cannot be traced back to the original address. It is used solely to rate-limit reviews and prevent duplicates. The IP address itself is never stored.
Reviews are read before publication. Once approved they are public — do not include any personal or confidential information. To have a review removed, write to us (see Contact).

Data retention
Your consent choice stays on your device until you clear it. Any server logs are kept for a limited period, in line with standard hosting practice, then deleted. Published reviews remain visible for as long as the module is online, or until you ask for their removal — rejected reviews are deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability over your personal data. Since this site keeps no user records, these rights mainly apply to any technical logs. You can write to us (see Contact) and, if necessary, lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Since Kubuno is free software (AGPLv3), its code is public and auditable — transparency is an integral part of how we approach security and privacy.
Changes to this policy
This policy may evolve (new features, legal obligations). Any change will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
